Terms and Conditions of Speed Date Houston
General Provisions
Welcome to Speed Date Houston. Your registration for any of our events constitutes your unequivocal acceptance of these terms and conditions. We urge you to review them with due diligence.
Cancellation and Reimbursement Policy
Cancellation of event registration must be executed not less than seven days prior to the event date to qualify for a complete reimbursement. Cancellations effected within seven days of the event will not merit a refund; rather, a credit for a subsequent event will be accorded. Nonattendance without prior notification results in forfeiture of your ticket and any entitlement to a credit.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall our liability for any claim, loss, damage, or expense exceed the amount paid for the event ticket. Under no circumstances shall our liability surpass the price of the ticket.
Event Cancellation and Rescheduling
Should Speed Date Houston cancel an event, a full refund shall be issued. This provision does not extend to events that are rescheduled to a subsequent date or location; in such instances, your registration will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled event.
Responsibility for Personal Items
Responsibility for items misplaced during events lies not with us but with the event venue. Please contact the venue directly regarding lost property.
Feedback and Grievance Redressal
In the event of a grievance, you are implored to reach out to us directly to facilitate a resolution. You hereby agree not to publish grievances on public forums or complaint websites without first providing us the opportunity for resolution.
Participant Conduct and Attendance
By participating in our events, you commit to punctual arrival and to notify us at least 24 hours in advance in case of cancellation. Inappropriate conduct, including but not limited to sexual remarks or misconduct, will result in immediate expulsion from the event. Compliance with our dress code and maintenance of a clean and groomed appearance is mandatory.
Data Confidentiality and Privacy
We hold your privacy in high regard. Your contact details (email and phone number) shall be disclosed only to mutual matches. All participants must submit their matches via our online platform within five days post-event.
Non-Compete Agreement
Participants and competitors are expressly forbidden from utilizing insights gained at our events to establish or engage in a similar enterprise or service for a duration of six years, or the maximum duration permissible by law.
Exclusions and Additional Expenses
The ticket price does not encompass food, beverages, or parking. Any expenses incurred at the venue, including but not limited to food, drink, and parking fees, are the sole responsibility of the attendee.
No Assurance of Results
Speed Date Houston does not undertake background checks on participants. Conducting any such checks remains the responsibility of the participant, at their own expense. We offer no guarantees regarding the outcomes of our events.
Jurisdiction and Legal Adherence
This agreement is governed by the laws of the state of Texas. Your consent to these terms is binding and effective upon registration for an event.
